Toddler Program
The Toddler program at Marina View Preschool is for children ages 24 months through 36 months (or until potty trained). The Toddler program provides each child with the opportunity for social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. Classroom materials are age appropriate as are the weekly curriculums and themes. The teacher to child ratio is 1:8 in the toddler classroom.
Our teachers provide a nurturing and loving environment allowing children to feel safe and secure while away from home.
Children do not need to be potty trained. When you are ready to support your child with transitioning out of diapers, teachers are willing and able to help.
Exploration with art and sensory materials, toys, manipulatives, circle time, stories, music and creative movement fill the daily routine.
Each child will learn social skills such as how to share and get along with other children.
Verbal skills are developed as children learn to express themselves. They express their feelings and learn how to resolve differences through verbal rather than physical expression.
